Leaving high school and transitioning into college can be a big step with lots of complications. One of the biggest concerns for students is paying for college. FAFSA makes it easy to get the financial aid you deserve.
FAFSA is a financial aid program that helps students on their journey into college by giving them the extra support they need through financial aid. FAFSA is useful to any student despite income. FAFSA helps primarily with grants, scholarships, student loans, and work-study funds. FAFSA works by using your identification information such as FSA ID, dob, email address, ssn, and your income information to initially identify who you are. Next, FAFSA takes your Student AId Index information and subtracts it from your Cost of Attendance which determines the amount of financial aid you can receive from FAFSA.
You must apply for the FAFSA form every year but after the first time applying it will be easier knowing which information they require for the form. You can apply for FAFSA at FAFSA® Application | Federal Student Aid (fafsa.gov).
You can only send your FAFSA information to 20 schools, different schools may have different rules on the amount of aid you can receive. With FAFSA paying for college is now easier than it ever has been before, apply today to find out how much aid you may acquire.
