APS activities is having a food drive through Mckinney Vento Warehouse to get food on the tables of Eldorado students. Mckinney Vento served about 4000 students in unhoused situations last year and here's how you can help. At school you can turn in non perishables to the activities office until next Friday the 17th. On November 18th from 8am to 4pm you can bring non perishables to the aps offices, 6400 Uptown Blvd NE. Non perishable items include but are not limited to,applesauce, pudding, ramen noodles, peanut butter, pasta, plastic spoon, fruit snacks, bags of rice, bags of beans, macaroni and cheese, and many more non-perishable food items. If you bring 3-5 items into the office before the 17th you can get a wristband, 5-10 items you will get a wristband and a popsocket, and 10 or more items you get a wristband, popsocket and an eldorado tumbler cup. Please donate your food to the activities office before the 17th or to the APS office on the 18th. Thank you!
