Mr. Brad Schafer has had three generations of his family come to Eldorado since 1984.
Schafer graduated himself in 1988. His son and daughter are alumni like him and his grandson, Kaeden, is currently in the preschool.
Schafer’s son, Tanner, graduated in 2014 and is a firefighter in Bernalillo county. Schafer’s daughter, Skylar, graduated in 2017 and coached JV cheer last year. She is currently studying to be an elementary school teacher.
“The Eldorado community has always been special to me,” Schafer said Schafer started teaching in 1999 and he is still proud to be an Eagle.
“There was no other place I wanted to teach.,” Schafer said.
Schafer is one of more than 20 Eagle alumni who work at Eldorado.
“It’s like coming home,” Schafer said.
