Teachers have been changing their ways of teaching as online school continues.
For some, it's been a breeze and for others, there have been difficulties. Two teachers at Eldorado, Ms. Jennifer Coughlin and Ms. Kristin Meyer have also made new setups for teaching to make the best learning experience for their students.
Although both teachers say that their experience with online learning has been much harder and slower, they are still pushing through. Both teachers are working from home but Ms. Coughlin also goes into the school to teach at times. At school, she is using one computer on a cart that she can use to move around for science labs and another computer to project her students' faces.
At Ms. Meyers house, she is very lucky to have her own office. She is able to use a desk, white board, and computer just like if she was at school. For her culinary arts demonstrations she uses a laptop and iPad on a tripod in her kitchen.
¨If I can do this in my home kitchen, you can do it in your home kitchen too,¨ she said.
A challenge for the both of them, has been not being able to see their students in camera and experience that hands-on environment.
¨When we are face to face in the kitchen, there's so many sounds and sights and smells and so you miss all of that,¨ Meyer said.
