"The Bugs" Review

By: Izzy Arenas and Camila Flores

Izzy Arenas - Last week drama 3 and 4 put on a production of ”The Bugs”. “The Bugs” was about a group of bugs working together to stop a human from putting a pool in their backyard. In the form of comedy “The bugs” felt like it had a deeper meaning, friendship, teamwork, and power to the people. A message that I saw was that minimum wage workers work very hard and their hard work can tend to end up in the hands of people in higher power, and the play was not so subtly bringing light to that issue. Another message was that it was subtly teaching about bugs and the impact and importance they have in our environment. In addition to some crude humor there were a lot of positive aspects of this show. The actors did a great job and even with the occasional impromptu song and dance the play was very fun and energetic.

Camila Flores - The Bugs was a very interesting show. It encourages a lot of people to work together and support each other. It also shows us how important it is to take care of the environment. I think this has a very good message to it and I would recommend it for people to watch it. The show does have a few unexpected scenes that I would recommend you to be prepared for. Other than that the message they give is very important and helps humans realize how important our environment is.
